EMAS/DCAA Clout Championships - 45 archers (from Derbyshire, other EMAS counties and some visitors) shot a double two way clout in good conditions. Three archers (one from Derbyshire, one from Northamptonshire and one from Devon) bettered the national records for the Single and Double Two Way Clout in their particular disciplines and twenty archers have claimed Tassel Awards (the clout equivalent of Rose Awards). JUNIOR EURONATIONS - Congratulations to Sarah Smith and Gemma Buxton, both from DAC, who shot for ENGLAND at the Euronations on 22/23 July at Bowmen of Glen. (Fita 900 on both days). England won the euronations on saturday. Sarah was top girl of the day with Gemma 4th On the Sunday it was the individual competition where Sarah again came out top and Gemma was 4th. Both girls did their club, county and region proud and it was a well organised event by the Leicestershire crew and the bowmen of glen club.
